DEVARAYANADURGA TREK:

     Devarayanadurga is at a distance of 73 kilometers from Bangalore.  This is at an altitude of 1188 meters.  This is popular for its views and Day Treks.  The trekking range of the trek is easy. Compared to other treks, this is less popular.  Devarayanadurga is surrounded by forest.  Devarayanadurga is an hill station and a temple town and it’s located in tumkur district in karnataka in India which is surrounded by hilltops and forest and featured with several temples such as yoga narasimha and bhoga narasimha.

RAMANAGARA TREK:

     Ramanagara is at a distance of 47 kilometers from Bangalore.  This is at an altitude of 914 meters.  This is popular for Night Trek, Sunrise and its views.  The trekking range of the trek is easy.  Ramanagara is also called silk city or silk town as it is well known for its sericulture and channapatna toys.  In Asia the largest market for silk cocoons is ramanagara.  And it’s a land of seven hills. CHANNARAYANA DURGA TREK:

     Channarayana Durga is at a distance of 99 kilometers.  This is at an altitude of 1136 meters.  This is popular for Day trek, fort, sunrise and its views.  The trekking range of the trek is easy.

ANTHARGANGE TREK:

     Anthargange is at a distance of 67 kilometers.  This is at an altitude of 1712 meters.  This is popular for Night Trek, sunrise and for its views.  The trekking range of the trek is easy.

     Kunti Betta is at a distance of 130 kilometers.  This is at an altitude of 878 meters.  This is popular for Night Treks, Sunrise, views.  The trekking range of the trek is easy.

MADHUGIRI TREK:

     Madhugiri is at a distance of 104 kilometers.  This is at an altitude of 1197 meters.  This is popular for Day Trek, Sunrise, Views and Fort.  The trekking range of the trek is moderate.  Asia’s second largest monolith is Madhugiri trek.  The town Madhugiri is in Tumkur District.   It is the district of Karnataka.  There are three sections in the Gateway.  

Section 1:  Section one is from Entrance to Gateway one.  The distance of the trek is 522 meters.  The duration of the trek is 30 minutes.

Section 2:  Section two is from Gateway one to Gateway two.  The distance of the trek is 405 meters.  The duration of the trek is 45 minutes.

Section 3:  Section three is from Gateway two to the Pinnacle of the Fort.  The distance of the trek is 739 meters.  The duration of the trek is 55 minutes.   

MAKALIDURGA TREK:

     Makalidurga is at a distance of 58 kilometers from Bangalore.  This is at an altitude of 1117 meters.  This is popular for NightTrek, Sunrise, views and Fort.  The trekking range of the trek is easy.  The starting point of the trek is Muthuraya Swamy.  The travel will be easily available through road and railways.  For the trail, there are two ways to approach.  There are 3 sections in the trail.

Section 1:  Section one is from Makalidurga Railway Station to Muthuraya Swamy temple.  The distance of the trek is 2.2 kilometers.  The duration of the trek is 30 minutes.  

Section 2:  Section two is from Muthurayaswamy Temple to Rest point I.  The distance of the trek is 1 kilometer.  The duration of the trek is 40 minutes.

Section 3:  Section three is from Rest Point I to Makalidurga Summit.  The distance of the trek is 600 meters.  The duration of the trek is 20 minutes,

SKANDAGIRI TREK:

     Skandagiri is at a distance of 60 kilometers from Bangalore.  This is at an altitude of 1450 meters.  This is popular for Day Treks, Sunrise and for its views.  The trekking range of the trek is easy.  The places near the Skandagiri trek are Grover Zampa Vineyards, Nandi Hills, Ghati Subramanya, Nrityagram.  The best time to visit Skandagiri is during the Winter, Summer and Monsoon season.

SAVANDURGA TREK:

     Savandurga is at a distance of 48 kilometers from Bangalore.  This is at an altitude of 1226 meters.  This is popular for Night Trek, Sunrise, Fort and its views.  The trekking range of the trek is moderate.  This trek covers about one day to complete.  The best time to visit the trek is October to March.  The base place is Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy Temple.  The maximum altitude is 4,022 feet.  The trek is full of granite rock predominantly on the trail with mud sections and small forests.  There are two temples at the base of Savandurga trek.
