Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) Treatments for Men

Do you have baldness problems or a scalp scar that you want to hide?

If you can’t stand going bald anymore or want to cover a scar on your scalp, Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) can help you create the illusion of shaved hair while respecting your natural color.

Understanding Scalp Micropigmentation

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is an innovative and long-lasting solution to the problem of male and female hair loss. It offers an effective way to give the appearance of hair follicles, allowing a person to appear as if they have a complete skull of clean-shaven hair.

Hair loss can be devastating, given our pride in our apparent hair. Whether the hair loss is due to alopecia, scarring, or another medical condition, there is often a loss of confidence. Many will cover their heads with hats, scarves, and bandanas to hide their condition. However, this is not a way of life.

Although SMP is not a natural cure for baldness, it offers a great way to mask the problem and help someone with baldness regain lost self-esteem. Let’s see how it can work for you.

How does it work

Hair Micropigmentation or Scalp Micropigmentation training center ( SMP ) is a solution developed in the United States and the United Kingdom that uses organic carbon black pigments implanted on the skull to mimic the appearance of hair follicles. Using specialized equipment in the hands of highly trained practitioners, you can achieve remarkable results in days. Procedures are performed in a clinically sterile environment to ensure maximum safety for our clients.

It usually takes 3-4 pigmentation sessions to achieve the desired results. Each session can take between 1 and 6 hours, depending on the scalp’s surface to be worked on. The surface to be covered is wholly covered after each session. In this way, the covered surface becomes progressively darker with each session. The result can last over five years before you notice it gradually fading, and a touch-up becomes necessary.

Sometimes also called derma pigmentation or scalp tattooing, this treatment generally works in four ways:

It gives the illusion of immaculate shaven hair – even with well-developed baldness, this procedure gives the illusion of intact hair follicles. With derma pigmentation, a perfect shaven haircut will appear more natural than growing long hair to hide bald spots. Keeping a flawless look of virgin shaven hair has never been easier!

Restores Receding Hairline – An experienced hand is needed to regain a receding hairline. The hairline will appear neat and symmetrical, but you will also appear to have fuller hair.

Thickens thinning hair – thinning hair is more evident as the scalp becomes more visible. A common problem for both genders, it’s easy to cover and restore the look of thicker hair with scaling micro-pigmentation. The darkened scalp makes distinguishing between the scalp and natural hair challenge.

Conceals a scar from a hair transplant or surgery – Hair transplant scars often look like strips or bare skin areas pulled from the head’s back. Scalp micro pigmentation restores the uniformity of hair follicles so that no one can tell the difference.

Advantages and disadvantages

Advantages

Non-invasive: The most viable solution to severe hair loss has been hair transplantation for a long time. These are often less economical and invasive, and results from hair transplant procedures can take up to 1 year. The chances of getting the desired results can be improved with hair micro-pigmentation.

Fast Results: SMP treatments can be completed in two weeks. Like many of our existing clients, you can then schedule a treatment while on vacation in Thailand.

Economical – hair micro-pigmentation is a worthwhile investment compared to hair transplants and the cost of quality wigs/toupees/extensions. The results are long-lasting and require minimal maintenance.

High success rate – the organic pigments used are generally well tolerated by people, providing an excellent success rate for those who try it. You should get the desired results quickly, whether for medical or cosmetic reasons.

No Side Effects: Scalp Micropigmentation relies on organic pigments and uses no drugs that clients may have an adverse reaction to. It is a safe procedure when undertaken in a clean, professional environment.

Disadvantages

Some redness affects the treated area when the procedure is complete. However, this disappears within a few hours after the end of the session.

The procedure is painless, with people sometimes experiencing discomfort rather than pain. In case of pain, a topical anesthetic cream can be applied.

The skin’s condition and other internal and external factors affect how the skin retains pigment. This explains different results for each individual. Dots will appear sharper on healthy skin than on oily, dry skin.

In the case of darker skin types, since the contrast between the skin color and the SMP is not very high, the SMP result may appear more like a shadow rather than a replica of the hair follicles scalp cleanser.
