While the City of Wonders tries to keep up with modern-day life, you must step aside and take a breather. Camping in Mumbai sounds like an excellent idea, especially knowing where to go. The following is a list of five to six fantastic weekend getaways from Mumbai that are ideal for a quick break. They are not far away, so you will not have to sacrifice your leaves or your budget. However, they will undoubtedly provide an unrivalled camping and adventure trip in completely calm surroundings in the middle of nature.
- Uttan camping– Uttan is mostly populated by kolis, or fisherman, whose colonies give the area a lovely Goa-like atmosphere, and sure, it is near to Gorai beach. You may camp here for a fully relaxed atmosphere, and there is an amphitheatre with musicians performing in the evenings and movies showing on weekends. There are swings, a bonfire (which you can help construct) and BBQ, and those trendy lanterns that give the location the right hippy atmosphere, along with some excellent hosts who finish the trip.
