When is the best time to go for this trek?
The best time to go for this trek is Mid-may to Mid-July as the weather is moderate thus making the trek quite easy yet thrilling. Avoid August and September because the heavy monsoons may make it difficult for you to climb. But if you are someone who loves a little bit of difficulty with adventure then I think you should go in the first 2 weeks of November where you will trek along with snow and the chilling winds. Also at this time you can enjoy the bonfires in the night while having your dinner and jamming to music.

Why Beas Kund Trek?
It provides a mesmerizing view of the peaks of Pir Panjal. And the best thing about this trek is that it will leave you breathtaking while you have to cross over 10 lakes either jumping, barefoot or with holding hands of others. Trust me this will be one of the most adventurous treks you would have ever witnessed. Magnificent view of the himalayan peaks and surreal sunsets which will leave you wonderstruck.
The crisp green meadows, big grasslands of Bakarthatch and Dhundi, dense coniferous forests, ancient deodar trees, glacial lakes, towering peaks are some of the interesting things about this trek and will make you crave to go to this destination. The sunsets and sunrises of the beas kund lake are something people die to witness and the crystal clear waters which are very eye-catching.
Bonfires
Bonfires are something in the to-do list of every trek list; here along with bonfires you can also stargaze the long infinite skies and witness the magic of the night with your loved ones. I know this has brought a smile on your face for sure!
You can bless your eyes with the amazing peaks of Mt Indrasan, Deo tibo included in Pir Panjal Range because only the fortunate ones get to see it (if you are special). These rare sites and views are something which you can’t get anywhere and thus this is what makes this Beas Kund so special and amazing. The river beas in the Solang valley bautifies itself in between the two scenic valleys in the Himalayas – the Kullu Valley and the Kangra Valley. This lake is not so easy to cross thus reaching the point of this lake is a victory for some people. It is also said that Alexander’s greatest hurdle was to cross this river. Justy imagine, you crossed this river, how amazing it would be! Not less than a victory.
After all this if you are thinking that this a very difficult trek then not to worry because even beginners can do this trek if they are well prepared and well informed.
Get your backpacks ready because I am sure after reading all this you won’t be able to just sit there. This is something which everyone must experience once in their life.
